#### 👶 Age of the Enhanced Bee

The age of your enhanced endemic bee is determined from that of the burned worker bees.

* Average age of the burned worker bees − 10%

**Examples**

* 5 bees burned (0%, 20%, 30%, 50%, 70%)\
  → Average age = 170 / 5 = **34%**\
  → Age of the enhanced bee = 34% − 10% = **24%**
* 6 bees burned (0%, 4%, 10%, 13%, 14%, 15%)\
  → Average age = 56 / 6 = **9.33%**\
  → Age of the enhanced bee = 9.33% − 10% = **0%**

#### Endemic bee enhancement mechanic

When an endemic bee is used in an enhancement with **7 Basic Bees**, it keeps the points obtained through its previous Level Ups.\
This therefore allows an endemic bee to be improved without losing the progression already acquired.

There is also an advanced mechanic allowing more value to be transferred during the enhancement.\
If an endemic bee is enhanced with **7 Basic Bees** as well as a **Bee Excellence of a higher degree** than that of the endemic bee, then the endemic bee keeps both:

* the points already acquired through its own Level Ups;
* the points tied to the Bee Excellence used in the enhancement.

The degrees of excellence are as follows:

**Basic → Advanced → Rare → Elite**

Example:\
If you enhance an **Advanced** level endemic bee with 7 Basic Bees, it will keep its Level Up points.

But if you enhance that same **Advanced** endemic bee with 7 Basic Bees **and a Rare Bee Excellence**, then it will keep its own Level Up points, as well as the points brought by the Rare Bee Excellence.

Another example: a **Rare** endemic bee will need to be enhanced with an **Elite** Bee Excellence to benefit from this additional transfer of points.

This mechanic therefore allows an endemic bee to progress while making higher degree Bees Excellence worthwhile.
