# Enhancement

## 🐝 Bee Enhancement

By burning **$CAT**, **$HELT**, and a certain number of basic worker bees, players obtain:

* **An endemic bee of degree of excellence N+1**

For example, to upgrade an endemic bee from **Rare → Elite**, you only need to burn **7 basic worker bees**.

The functions of the endemic bee remain unchanged.

The pockets of the endemic bee remain unchanged.

### **🎨 Bee Skin**

* If the endemic bee has a special skin, it is preserved.

### 🆙 **Keep your Level Up points**

When an Endemic Bee is used in an enhancement with 7 Basic Bees, it keeps the points obtained through its previous Level Ups.

This allows you to enhance an Endemic Bee without losing the progress it has already acquired.

There is also an advanced mechanic that allows additional value to be transferred during the enhancement.

If an Endemic Bee is enhanced with 7 Basic Bees as well as a Bee Excellence one degree higher than the Endemic Bee, then the Endemic Bee keeps both:

* the points already acquired through its own Level Ups;
* the points linked to the Bee Excellence used in the enhancement.

The Excellence degrees are as follows:\
Basic → Advanced → Rare → Elite

**Example:**

If you enhance an Advanced Endemic Bee with 7 Basic Bees, it will keep its Level Up points.

However, if you enhance this same Advanced Endemic Bee with 7 Basic Bees and a Rare Bee Excellence, then it will keep its own Level Up points, as well as the points provided by the Rare Bee Excellence.

Another example: a Rare Endemic Bee will need to be enhanced with an Elite Bee Excellence in order to benefit from this additional point transfer.

This mechanic therefore allows an Endemic Bee to progress while giving value to higher-degree Bee Excellence.
