# Overview

An **Endemic Bee** is a new type of bee that differs from worker bees by its ability to **combine multiple functions**.

{% hint style="danger" %}
It is important to note that only the main function of an Endemic Bee is taken into account in the **M2E** component.

However, having multiple functions becomes particularly valuable in the **P2E** component, where they can be fully leveraged.

**Function Stacking**

When a Worker Bee evolves into an Endemic Bee, it does not lose its initial role — it acquires a new one.\
Your Endemic Bee is therefore defined by its ability to stack functions.

{% hint style="info" %}
For example: **Guardian / Nurse**\
It can accumulate up to **six different functions**.
{% endhint %}

Stacking these functions has a direct impact on your Imperial Hive’s **"Imperial Airdrop"** coefficient.

It also plays a key role in the **IV of Drones** obtained by minting two Endemic Bees.

#### Obtaining an Endemic Bee

When a worker bee reaches **100% age** and transforms, the user has a **1/6 chance** of obtaining an endemic bee.

{% hint style="info" %}
During the transformation from a worker bee into an endemic bee, its **level is reset to 0**.

However, **all attribute points** earned through the worker bee’s level-ups are **fully retained** upon becoming endemic.

#### Using an Endemic Bee

<details>

<summary><strong>M2E - Free Composition</strong></summary>

**Up to 45 energy**\
→ An endemic bee functions exactly like a worker bee in terms of **$CATKN and Nectar rewards**.

**Above 45 energy**\
→ It becomes more profitable to use a **worker bee** to perform your runs.

**Upcoming specific rewards**\
→ Some **M2E rewards** will not be accessible to endemic bees, making **worker bees** preferable in these situations.

**Reward calculation during a run**\
→ Only the **primary function** of the endemic bee is taken into account for:

* reward calculation
* allocation of associated bonuses
