# Energy Cap

Energy is a counter tied to your physical activity, used to convert your efforts into rewards.

<details>

<summary>How long does one energy last?</summary>

The duration of one unit of Energy is calculated using the following formula:

**1 Energy = 6 / Endurance Attribute**

</details>

<details>

<summary>How to increase your energy count? </summary>

The user has the possibility to increase their energy count in three ways.

1. By increasing the number of bees they own through a tiered system, with a maximum of 15 energies linked to the number of bees. (Refer to the [<mark style="color:$primary;">Energy System</mark>](#energy-bee-correspondence-table) section for more details)&#x20;
2. By acquiring bees at higher excellence levels (Energy bonuses). (Refer to the [<mark style="color:$primary;">En</mark>](#energy-degree-of-excellence-correspondence-table)[<mark style="color:$primary;">ergy System</mark>](#energy-bee-correspondence-table) section for more details)
3. Thanks to the ApicHolder status, which offers a progressive bonus of 1 to 5 energies based on the number of larvae in incubation!

<summary>Energy Cap </summary>

The maximum energy cap is 50 energies.

This cap will increase gradually as Hiving progresses.

## Increase/Reduce energy duration time.

<details>

<summary>Endurance Coefficient</summary>

The endurance attribute of a bee is a coefficient ranging from 0.40 to 1.60 and directly impacts the duration of an energy. The user have multiple solutions available to boost this attribute to 1.8 or 2 depending on the chosen strategy.

1 Energy = Base/Endurance Coefficient&#x20;

Examples: \
• With an endurance coefficient of 0.80, one energy lasts: 6/0.8 = 7 minutes and 30 seconds \
• With an endurance coefficient of 1.5, one energy lasts: 6/1.5 = 4 minutes&#x20;

The endurance attribute is capped at 2, allowing you to halve the duration of an energy!&#x20;

***Note:** The endurance coefficient of a young bee is 1 (level 0 to 7); the final endurance coefficient of your bee is revealed at level 8.*

<summary>Team Synergy</summary>

The user has 2 [<mark style="color:$primary;">Team Synergy</mark>](/whitepaper/move-to-earn/team-system/synergies.md)<mark style="color:$primary;">,</mark> allowing them to boost their endurance attribute. He can boost his endurance attribute to 1.8 or 2 depending on the strategy employed.
