Energy is a counter tied to your physical activity, used to convert your efforts into rewards.

<details>

<summary>How long does one energy last?</summary>

The duration of one energy is calculated with the following formula:

1 Energy = 6/Endurance Attribute

</details>

<details>

<summary>How to increase your energy count?</summary>

The user has the possibility to increase their energy count in 3 ways:

1. By increasing the number of bees they hold through a tier system, with a maximum of 15 energies tied to the number of bees.\
   *(See the Energies/Bee correspondence table below for more details)*
2. By acquiring bees with a higher degree of excellence (Energy bonus), with a maximum of 45 energies.\
   *(See the Energies/Degree of Excellence correspondence table below for more details)*
3. Through ApicHolder status, which offers a progressive bonus of 1 to 5 energies depending on the number of larvae in incubation, allowing a maximum of 50 energies to be reached

</details>

<details>

<summary>Energy ceiling</summary>

The maximum amount of energy is capped at 50.

{% hint style="success" %}
This ceiling will evolve regularly as Hivings take place.
{% endhint %}

### ***Increase/Reduce the duration of an energy***

<details>

<summary>Endurance coefficient</summary>

A bee's <mark style="color:purple;">endurance</mark> attribute is a coefficient between 0.40 and 2 and directly impacts the duration of an energy.

1 Energy = Base duration/<mark style="color:purple;">Endurance</mark> coefficient

**Examples:**\
• With an <mark style="color:purple;">endurance</mark> coefficient of 0.80, one energy lasts: 6/0.8 = 7 minutes and 30 seconds\
• With an <mark style="color:purple;">endurance</mark> coefficient of 1.5, one energy lasts: 6/1.5 = 4 minutes

The <mark style="color:purple;">endurance</mark> attribute is capped at 4, allowing you to divide the duration of an energy by 4!

*Warning: the <mark style="color:purple;">endurance</mark> coefficient of a young bee is 1 (level 0 to 7), the final endurance coefficient of your bee is revealed at level 8.*

<summary>Team synergy</summary>

The user has 2 [<mark style="color:$primary;">Team Synergies</mark>](/whitepaper/move-to-earn/team-system/synergies.md) allowing them to benefit from a boost to the <mark style="color:purple;">endurance</mark> attribute.

They can therefore boost their <mark style="color:purple;">endurance</mark> attribute to 1.8 or 2 depending on the strategy employed.
