**Leaderboards** are periodic competitions allowing users to measure themselves against each other through different game mechanics, with a view to winning a share of the monthly rewards allocated.

Each month, several Leaderboards run simultaneously, offering varied formats suited to different player profiles.

***

### 🗓️ Registration Phase

A registration period opens **15 days before the start of each month**.

During this phase:

* Users can register **free of charge for up to 2 Leaderboards**
* It is then possible to register for additional Leaderboards (up to **8 more**, **10 in total**) by paying a cost in $CATKN

Each paid registration results in:

* 🔥 **25% of the amount paid is burned**
* 🎁 **75% of the amount paid is redistributed** into the Prize Pool of the Leaderboard concerned

### 📚 Types of Leaderboards

Leaderboards can run over different durations:

* ⏱️ **2 days**
* 📅 **7 days**
* 🗓️ **15 days**
* 🗓️ **Monthly (30 days)**

Each Leaderboard has its **own entry conditions**, and sometimes specific calculation rules which may include:

* A minimum or maximum energy requirement
* A specific team composition
* The use of a given Main Bee for points to be counted
* Score validation conditions specific to the leaderboard

These restrictions directly influence the performance of participants.

***

### 📊 Score Calculation

Each user's score is calculated from:

#### Primary Factors

* 🔋 **Number of energies spent**
* 🧬 **Specialization attribute**

#### Secondary Factors

* Specific conditions of the Leaderboard\
  *(access restrictions, team composition, bee used, etc.)*

***

### 💰 Reward Allocation

Each month, a total of **18,000,000 $HELT** is allocated to the Leaderboards.

The distribution of this allocation between the different Leaderboards is defined in advance.

Users can therefore:

* Compare the allocations offered
* Target the Leaderboards offering the best opportunities
* Adapt their registration strategy accordingly

***

### 🎁 Dynamic Prize Pool

The Prize Pool of each Leaderboard evolves according to:

* The total number of participants
* The registration fees redistributed (75%)

**Predefined participation tiers** progressively increase the rewards distributed, by adjusting the percentages allocated to the different ranks.

***

### 🏆 Special Leaderboards

**Special** or **event** Leaderboards may also be offered.

Some will be **recurring**, while others will be **one-off**, introducing a more opportunistic, even "degen" dimension, through specific competitive formats.
