# Free Composition

Before taking off, build your team and maximize your rewards.

#### **Customize your team**

Create your lineup however you like, combining up to 3 bees:

1. **1 x Main Bee** (required)
2. **Up to 2 Support Bees** (optional)

#### 🐝 **Main Bee**

**Base Rewards**

She is the core element of your team.\
She determines your base **$CATKN** rewards during a run.

Several factors influence her performance:

1. **Support Bees** (excluding synergies)
2. **Your bee’s age**
3. Equipped **Honey Pots**
4. **Local weather** <mark style="color:red;">(currently unavailable)</mark>

These factors are applied **in this order** and modify her attributes before the reward calculation.

#### 🐝 **Support Bees**

They allow you to adjust your performance through a **bonus/malus system.**

Two ways to use them:

• **Without synergy:** refine your strategy, but accept certain penalties.

• **With a predefined team synergy:** **gain bonuses without penalties.**

Check the **Team Synergies** section to learn more.

{% hint style="success" %}
Bonuses and penalties, except for Endurance, **are applied directly to the boosted attributes of the Main Bee**, significantly impacting the final results.
{% endhint %}
